Get up and running with Pipit in 2 minutes

Get Started

1. Download from GitHub Releases
2. Install: Mount the .dmg and drag Pipit to Applications
3. Open Pipit and grant microphone and accessibility permissions
4. Dictate: In any text field, tap Right Option (⌥), speak, then tap again. You can also hold and release the key for a short dictation.

Your First Dictation

1. Open any text field (Notes, TextEdit, browser)
2. Tap Right Option (⌥), or press and hold it
3. Speak your message
4. Tap again, or release the held key, to transcribe and insert

Use Right Option and dictate naturally. Your text appears with proper punctuation.

Open Notes and use Right Option to capture thoughts. Use AI enhancement later to clean up if needed.
