Overview
Pipit learns custom words and corrections automatically, while also allowing manual entries. The app uses intelligent fuzzy matching to fix speech recognition errors. For example, if “Kubernetes” is often misrecognized as “Coober net ease”, Pipit can learn and correct it.Adding a Word

Open Pipit’s main window and select Dictionary

Bulk Adding Words
You can add multiple words at once by separating them with commas, semicolons, or newlines:How It Works
- Manual entries: Words you add are saved permanently and take priority
- Learned entries: Pipit automatically learns corrections you make, marked as “Learned”
- Fuzzy matching: The dictionary uses smart matching to catch variations (e.g., typos)
- Phonetic matching: For words that sound similar but are spelled differently
Best Practices
- Add domain-specific terms your profession uses
- Include proper names that are frequently misheard
- Pipit learns automatically when you correct a misheard word
- Clear learned entries anytime from Dictionary → Clear Learned
