Quick access to Pipit from your menu bar

The Pipit menu bar icon gives you instant access to dictation, clipboard history, and past transcriptions without opening the main app window.

Accessing the Popover

Click the Pipit icon in your macOS menu bar (top-right, near the clock). Option-click to open the main app window with settings.

Quick Actions

The menu bar popover provides immediate access to core features:

Permission Indicator

The menu bar icon shows an orange tint when Accessibility permission is missing. Grant permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility to restore full functionality.

Always Available

Pipit runs entirely from the menu bar. The main window can stay closed while you dictate, access history, and manage clipboard content — perfect for a streamlined workflow.
