# Quick Start

> Get up and running with Pipit in 2 minutes

## Get Started

1. **Download** from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/pxkan/Pipit-Releases/releases/latest)
2. **Install:** Mount the `.dmg` and drag Pipit to Applications
3. **Open** Pipit and grant microphone and accessibility permissions
4. **Dictate:** Press and hold **Right Option** (⌥) in any text field, speak, then release

## Your First Dictation

1. Open any text field (Notes, TextEdit, browser)
2. Press and hold **Right Option** (⌥)
3. Speak your message
4. Release to transcribe and insert

## Workflow Examples

### Dictate an Email

1. Click in your email body
2. Hold Right Option and speak naturally
3. Release — your text appears with proper punctuation

### Take Meeting Notes

1. Open Notes or your preferred app
2. Hold Right Option to capture thoughts
3. Use AI enhancement to clean up later

### Code with Your Voice

1. Open Xcode, VS Code, or Cursor
2. Hold Right Option and describe what you want
3. Pipit formats commands and code syntax correctly
